The Mary M. Froehlich Memorial Scholarship, Winchester Branch of the American Association of University Women is awarded to an outstanding student who has attended Laurel Ridge Community College and has been accepted by Shenandoah University as a transfer student. Eligible students are contacted and invited to apply. The scholarship was established in 2019 and is supported by member donations and fundraising events.
Another local scholarship provides funds for students within SU’s School of Education and Leadership in the Doctor of Education (EdD) Program in Administrative Leadership or in the Professional Studies Certificate (PSC) Program in Administration and Supervision. PSC awardees must have already completed a Master of Education degree. Awardees must demonstrate financial need and be in good academic standing. A preference is given towards female applicants. Applications for the Dr. Amy Lee Parker Endowed Scholarship, Winchester Branch of the American Association of University Women are available at the Shenandoah University Office of Financial Aid. The scholarship was first awarded in 2021.
